Bespoke Storage & Fitted Furniture in Tavistock, Devon & Cornwall
Fitted wardrobes, storage and handmade furniture, built to fit — across Devon and Cornwall.
INTRO
The best storage is the kind you stop noticing — built to fit the space exactly, using every awkward corner an off-the-shelf unit can’t. SD Carpentry & Construction designs, makes and fits bespoke storage and fitted furniture across Tavistock, Devon and Cornwall. Because every piece is made by a qualified carpenter, it’s built around your room rather than forced into it — solid, seamless and finished to last.
WHAT WE TAKE ON
Every piece starts with your space and how you want to use it, measured and templated before anything is made. Most of it is built by hand in our own workshop, then fitted so it looks like it was always meant to be there.
Because this is carpentry at its heart, it’s work we do in-house from start to finish — with one person accountable for every detail.
Work we regularly take on includes:
● Fitted wardrobes and built-in storage
● Alcove units, shelving and media walls
● Understairs storage and boot rooms
● Home-office desks and built-in furniture
● Bookcases, cabinets and window seats
● Freestanding, handmade furniture
● Made-to-measure joinery for awkward spaces
HOW WE WORK
Every job gets the same approach: careful measuring and templating before anything is made, honest pricing with no nasty surprises, and a tidy site at the end of each day. You’ll deal with Sean directly from the first visit through to sign-off. And because every piece is made and fitted in-house, the fit and finish are held to a standard we’re happy to put our name to.
